The Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District’s McDill Swim Beach opened Memorial Day Weekend and is open daily through Monday, September 2nd. The beach is open to the public and is guarded by fully qualified lifeguards at all times during open hours, which are noon to 5pm daily. **Our “Hot August Nights” promotion offers a reduced fee of $2 per person when you enter the beach after 3pm, (Monday-Friday only).

Swim Beach will be closed on July 28th due to a private rental.

This facility offers clean, safe fun including a white sand beach, barbecues, sand volleyball court, grass picnic area, snack bar and playground. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and older, $4 for children 3 to 12, and $1 for children 2 and under. Family and individual admission passes are available for the entire season.
